Garlic?

Post by goatgal35 » Wed Nov 16, 2016 5:49 pm

Like WWW I have tried planting the soft necked garlic from the grocery store with similar results. I had been doing some reading and wanted to try growing hard necked garlic next year. Well things don't always go as planned :) I am excited to be jumping in with both feet a year early. I have priced seed garlic so I couldn't say no to this opportunity to hopefully be garlic self sufficient in the near future.

Garlic?

We went to the Perth Garlic Festival this year, for the first time.... and bought lots of garlic. We do prefer the hard neck varieties. My husband has already planted a hole bunch. Do remember that they are heavy feeders and need good fertile soil.
