I found this seed potato place, it's very reasonably priced, their selection is huge, and they're Canadian. Win-win! They start accepting orders in january, and ship in April. Supply is limited. They also conveniently list which diseases any given variety is resistant or susceptible to.

That is an interesting list of potatoes. I think I will try growing potatoes next year under a canopy of Pole beans. See if the nitrogen fixed from the beans help the potatoes.

Jp you do know that nitrogen is what causes your potatoes to turn black when cooked, so I never worry if I have enough nitrogen for the plants. I use well rotted cow manure.

The website lists shipping on 5 kg of seed potatoes as $26, so really not that bad!

I have watched them for several years. We grow a few special ones...our favs this year are Mark Warshaw - rare! We also grow Peruvian Purple, All Red, German Butterball, Warba, and are working on some very special *new* varieties...

I did not order from them this year but I have ordered from them 2 or 3 other years. Always got good product, will be ordering for 2017 for sure.
