who wants sweet potato shoots for the spring?

Hi everyone
I put a few sweet potatoes (yellow shorter season ones) in water to shoot...and well, i have shoots everywhere, and the darned things are now vining up the blinds in the kitchen window! :rofl1: usually they don't root this well, but they sprouted almost right away. i know shirley (bayvistafarm) usually gets some from me, anyone else in the area want any? Al, did you and Lizzie want a few? Ross? anyone between here and hamilton? LOl. it's easy to keep them rooting, but they will just be rooted sprouts, not potted up or anything....they usually get out to the garden after last frost-second week of june in my area-same time as pumpkin transplants.
i think they're doing so well in the house because my hubby has the place at about 35C with the woodstove going..... oh, and if you've never had these ones before, they're wonderful in soups, the littler tubers you don't even need to peel, and these ones are actually sweet right out of the ground....they don't *need* curing like the big orange ones.
