Heres mine I planted in a container, every time they sprout up I cover them some more, I can hardly believe how much they have sprouted up. I started with about 3 inches now they are covered about 12 inches.

Just dug my first hill of these, will have hem later today. Looks like reasonably prolific. They were in flower about two weeks ago, so if left to mature, this hill should have been rather nice, but I am hoping rather nice on the plate too. And Muffin, you are down this way, stop in and tell lies about goats and gardens and stuff, you would be welcome.

A fine breakfast, bangers and new potatoes and goats milk. These new potatoes are wonderful.

Out of my pitiful lot one potato (interestingly one that was damaged ) didn't freeze completely and this spring sported one eye!!!! so planted it separately so I could baby it, we are calling it the "twenty dollar potato", and will see what happens.
That will teach me buying anything on a whim ;)
OK, so my one shoot $ 20 potato produced 5 very respectful size offspring, so amortized over the season, they are now $4 potatoes, the odds are improving. ;)

Was able to "support them by some red potatoes on the bottom to create my Hostess baggies with the two tone beauties on top
