Because I didn't want the tiny plants to get over crowded in the little paper starter pots, I decided to plant them outside.
They had more than the first two leaf sets. Boy they grow slowly. I think I still have 3 that survived. Either something ate them, or they just died. They may have gotten a bit dry because I did not sprinkle them with water ONE day.
Plus they are covered with chicken wire for protection.
If I decide to try this again next year, I will definitely have to start earlier and re-pot them while they are still in the house. *sigh*

They are super tender.....mine burnt off in our fire....nothing came back, thought some of the ones not directly in the heat would survive but nope. Browned and died within 2 days. Sigh
