I have a false spirea that I moved but could not dig out the parts that grew under the veranda behind the lattice facing. Now its rhizomes are spreading outward back into the flower garden.
In memory of our first rooster, I wrote and published a Kindle eBook on Amazon, "Humphrey, the Rooster: A true story". Humphrey is my current avatar.
I got a wild blackberry bush in one of the perennials I bought that came from a nursery in BC. I let it grow for 3 years, thinking it wouldn't do well in the climate here. It started to take over the bed it was in, so I killed it. I found out it would never make fruit unless there was another one to pollinate it. It didn't bloom in the time that I had it.
