Help with identifying

Post by Maximus » Tue Jul 12, 2016 8:22 am

I have hacked mine down each year since I've been here because I hate the bandaid residue they leave behind on the siding and stone. But it just keeps coming back. This year I didn't have time for the battle.

Can I transplant it? Let's say around the coop?

Think I'll have to get some for the far side of the lot! Could let it run up an old apple tree.

Help with identifying

Ours was big and beautiful. The darn vine went up the house as high as it could, and thru the eavestrough. The sticky little feet wrecked the screens on the windows they covered, like completely. Like thick vines. Its planted right beside the stone house. The runner from it are coming up in the lawn a good 25 feet away. Amazing!! Course, the septic is right beside the house, about 12 feet away, and I bet they have/or are working on going thru it.

Found an old picture of it. I hated to chop it down (but its still coming up everywhere)... it was beautiful.
