Yes Waupoos is in Prince Edward County.

Not sure about coyotes on the Island.

Interesting piece awhile ago about the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone and area. Apparently the number of pronghorns surviving has gone up when they were in severe decline because the coyotes would kill the fawns. Now the wolves kill the coyotes but not pronghorn fawns. They stick to bigger game more worth hunting!

A doc I watched about wolves in Yellowstone said wolves changed prey behaviour, now they stay more in the hills and less in valleys, deer now herd for safety. This has changed the landscape as deer no longer can overbrowse some areas and has been good for plants.

Yep also cut down on elk herd which also helps grasslands etc to regrow . Eventually will depopulate deer & elk & being in a reserve will cause another issue . Everything in moderation even moderation . Just picked up my trap "sweet" & I see the guys are out running coyotes with their dogs . Nice sunny aft for it here . Every bit helps . Always a changing target . Luck
