Sorta Hunting - be careful

Post by Killerbunny » Sat Sep 18, 2021 3:09 pm

Got a phone call this am from neighbour wife we don't get along with well. Hubby is out driving milk truck and a coyote is runniing the cows and calves some are very young. OK we'll be right over. DH goes over and I go to get my guns. Neighbour tells me he's gone down the hedgeline and careful of the fence . OK squirm under fence and I ask her if I can go down through the far gate. Yup, no problem. This would bring me to other side of near hedgeline. Walk off down paddock when a very large head emerges from behind shelter. This does NOT look like a heifer! The Charolais bull then wanders out for a look see and I carefully walk slowly back chatting to him. I tell her the bull is in there and she's all "oh I remember now"!
Good job he's calm guy.Anyway the yote had left and we're going out for a couple of evenings to see if it comes back. Nice weather to sit out in the treeline.

Best of luck @ross no luck for us this evening apart from overcurous cows! Gorgeous evening to be out though.
