Hi there
Anyone here (@ross maybe) now the regs for hunting these little darlings. Want to make a dent now before they start on killing turkey poults.

SO I guess we have to wait until they start on killing poults?
Mind you one just went into the paddock and got a chase down for it's pains!

You have squirrels killing your poults? wow. I have never seen or heard of that.....however, if they are endangering your livestock it's always open season....just saying

I was gobsmacked when I caught one at it! They distract Mum and then snag a poult and drag it out of the pen. I was wrongly blaming other turkey hens for the 2 deaths and then I caught the (late) squirrels doing it. I was just hoping to get a jumpstart before we get loads of young.

yep, cellphone video works great for proving that.
brazen little buggers.....maybe electrify the fence? zap them when they try to get through?

Yep not all but like chickens , turkeys ,ducks , guineas etc
eat mice & other poultry .
