Helping with Migration

I was lucky to fill my deer tag last weekend. Must have happened during the migration of these birds. I never saw that many together in one spot ...
We cleaned that carcass really well. So there is no way all of these got something to eat. But it was a great spectacle none the less.

They hunt by the smell of death . A beautiful sight . This time of year they are slowly moving to a warmer more daylight area , some hang here longer . You were very lucky to see that in person Martin . A ugly but beautiful bird it is . 🦅🤠

We get them here quite a bit only about 8 - 10 though.

They are so well adapted to the critical role they have!
