Wet turkey hunting
Decide that today & Tues I’ll focus in dry cosy dogloo blind on turkey in bush . Wed supposedly no rain then I’ll go sit on deer trails in open blind . No rush lots a time yet . This keeps up turkeys will have web feet . Supper packed ,warm stew I’ll stay here to last light or success .

You bet & have a candle burning inside a tin can inside keeps the chill /dampness off . Just finished supper Irish stew & hot chocolate. I’ll be here till dark or if I get a turkeys so far just lots a male Robins eating berries.

good luck ross! i'll be out for deer likely friday evening and saturday evening....see how my back feels after the first tree stand sit....if it's good, then i'm good to go! i did cave and buy a turkey seal, because the hanging of the tree stand revealed that the turkeys are roosting in the raving behind it...so i might just have a shot....lol. maybe....
sure was wet yesterday, and again this morning. will make it silent (and muddy) in the bush for sure! stay warm, and dry!

I noticed our turkeys round here have had huge broods this year. May auger well for next year.
