Looks like the good / legal guy gets the shaft again . Facebook has decided to BAN all legal firearms sales on any Facebook accs be special ones for buy/sell/trade or private ones . Ive sent an email expressing my DISPLEASURE & signed a petition and will be deactivating my 2 accounts plus ALL the other accounts tied into it .
Bullcrap .......

I really don't understand why they think this is going to help. a criminal will get a gun off the street, or steal it, or whatever. stopping firearms sales - totally legal ones - on facebook is not going to accomplish anything in the fight on gun crime. all it does is punish the law abiding citizen.....sigh. here we go again. well, ross, we will still have a buy/sell area on PTO. i gotta wonder where this will stop.....can't sell guns online, what next? cars? heaven forbid someone might sell one that won't pass a safety....ATVs? i know! lets ban facebook! because after all it's up to no good whatsoever!!!!! after all, all those people posting on facebook must be up to something criminal!

Yep ... Thats why if goes thru i WILL deactivate my FB . Just in , one of FB online htg / fishing sales etc has already switched over to private domain similar to this one . Luck

I think this is to do with the background checks in the US. Probably too much hassle for Facebook to deal with.

Were totally different than down there . Nothing to do with FB but is there right to do its theirs . They dont check age or licencing here or there when yu buy a car . Next it will be animal rightist saying you dont own animals so cant sell . Already the " nosey parkers " shut down dog/cat sales on a reg basis at Pet supply stores . Not a problem just some are starting up private sites like this one .
What has happened here is someone (trolls) reports gun sale ads to facebook as not appropriate & the site gets shut down for awhile then back on . Not sure how far will go . Luck

The've listed in banned section selling of guns with selling of drugs & adult products . I seen some of FB forums gun sales are selling gun cases or locks for so many dollars which include if read between lines a shotgun/rifle etc & also taking the periods out in PAL so looks like buddy not Possesion & Acqusition Licence needed . Dont know how that will work . Lots a private gun /hunting forums to go to . Luck
