In Mass & Ct the firearms laws are actually stiffer than here but then everything's illegal in Massachusetts

Yep KB & most Canadians think the U.S. has no gun laws . Laws are only good if there enforced . Maybe it's the fake news spreading the blues . Wow me thinks there's a country song in there somewhere . lol .

Well don't even think of trying this in Ontario, a guy got a $3000 fine for chasing a coyote with a snowmobile in Ontario so imagine if he was caught running over it and then beating it.

I didn't "hear" about it, a guy posted on YouTube about it, as in bragging, watch me hunt coyotes. I can't find the one I saw but you can google "hunting coyotes with a snowmobile" if you want to see, I don't recommend it. Some people commented they do it all the time as well, some hunters say he is garbage and some city people want to chase him down with a snowmobile. Maybe it's just a hillbilly culture thing and they always did that so see nothing wrong with it,

Yep in Ontario I'm not sure bout other provinces it's illegal to chase / harass wild animals on vehicles includes leg powered , boats etc . . Not sure if that's the wording but close .

Any vermin that gets in my sights, I shoot; but I try to make it a quick Kill. That was just disgusting.

In New York state rifles are not allowed for deer (and some other) hunting: shotgun only (with bow and arrow, crossbow, and maybe blackpowder special rules) so in the 1980's came the rise of slugs for deer for shotgun. A rifle bullet might travel several miles/km's where shotgun slug is very limited in range then it drops like a football, "shot" pellets from a shotgun don't travel far. I think 200 yards is the max for a slug.
