CTC s got Ugly Stik casting reel fishing poles on sale . Reg 59.95 for 44.95 . Picked one up to retire my old Quantum stik . Put Quantum bass casting reel on new stick .Try her out between rain this week . Luck 🐟

Here I was thinking your post was something about a real ugly bird (you know...'beaten with the ugly stick') and I was coming to console (or congratulate) on the state of the poor critter. LOL. My mistake ;)

very nice Ross! what size/kind of line do you run on it? I have one of these reels and kind of get fed up with it. I try it out a couple times every year and then put it back. I have 50lb power pro on it...

I've got 10lb mono Trylene on the reel . Had it for 10 yrs . There's a trick to usin um . You tube shows yu how . A couple adjustments to be made on the free wheeling & casting control then lots a practice . I like it for bass in pads & tree infested water . Can target the holes better than spinning rig . You still lookin for a chanty bantam rooster ?
