That is so cool! elegant, beautiful and functional. I think everyone at the party will be jealous! Anybody going to be there you don't like, that has younger kids? Kids would get a huge kick out of running around honking like a goose. Entertain the kids and drive the parents nuts :D Maybe something to keep in mind for next year :-D

I'm the same way...it's fun when you're just creating something. Then someone wants you to make them one and it's suddenly work lol. I'm gonna say that's a sign of a true creative spirit!

:beer2: Cheers to that! Im sure I've saved thousands of dollars over the years. I grew up in a poor family, but you dont really realize that as a kid, its just normal. so you know I was brought up to fix what ya got, restore what you need and build it if ya can. sometimes you may need to make a tool in order to have the right tool to get the job done right. I dont think rich or poor has to do with the money you make but rather what you do with it . we may not have lots of money but we get by just fine, in my eyes were the richest people we know, we have a very great quality of life here! the best part is that our kids are growing up with those same values.

See I took a stick, an o ring and a small piece of plastic from a package and rolled it all up into a goose call. I do that kinda thing everyday and teach my kids to do the same. HAHA we have 6 kids in between 4 and 12. :-)

heres the finished product! man it looks awesome and sounds pretty good too. I wish I had one more day to sand and finish it a bit better but thats just the perfectionist in me... it looks great just the way it is! its not the best lighting in these pics but it works. see the wire on it? that is what makes it an ornament! ;-)

Ha! Ha! Instead of a wire, grab yourself a piece of ribbon. Just saying it would go better with the tree.

Thanks Kenya! I am going to wrap some ribbon around the wire so it looks "pretty." Lizzie went out and bought some yesterday for all the other ornaments I just couldnt decide what color so held off.
