Will a gazillion feed bags stop an arrow?

YES IT DOES! and quite effectively I might add with only about 6" of penetration. After a year of saving every fed bag and shoving them all into one, today I decided to squash them all down, tie it off and test it out.

with my 150lb Chinese crossbow I had a blast getting it finally sighted in and I didnt loose or break any arrows! Now theres a first!

My target bags for the crossbow are basically just feed bags inside, compacted. But they are pretty thick target bags and I have a mound of dirt behind the bags.

Been using feed bags full of feed bags-or boxes full of feed bags as tagets for years. Way cheaper than buying a foam target and works way better than baled hay lol

all shots were 15 yards. I wanted to keep going n get it dialed right in and make some longer shots but it started pouring out. the scope is a multi reticule n so I wanted to figure out what the other lines were based on... I have the manual for the scope somewhere. im guna get it dialed in then take it out to the stand and really practice. I was hitting left for quite a few shots, when I was done I noticed the bolt is quite bent... I have 2 straight ones left so I'll use those next time. it may have been what my problem was since the bolt sits in the same position everytime. now I'll prolly be hitting right. ;-) LOL I hit bullseye twice and same spot each time, its very consistent. a lot of ppl really knock these cheap bows but I'm sooo happy with it. total cost was about $220 after the scope, mounting rings and the dove tail adapter.
