Lots of turkeys around here, big fat birds! they are in the ditches, cross the road in front of traffic...waiting for some to wander into the barn...

haha Muffin! everywhere hunters aren't... LOL i saw 2 on the side of the road this afternoon on our way into town. one on each side of the fence trying to figure out how the other got through. stupid turkeys! LOL mine do that all the time then I go and open the door and she runs through. happens all the time, they never remember. HAHA I bet all the wild turkeys around here are trapped behind a gate somewhere and cant find there way out.

I'm pretty sure turkeys can't swim very well......good news al is that you really don't NEED a blind.....i have never used one for turkey hunting. so far only 1 season i haven't gotten a turkey, so either i'm really good (ha! yeah, right) or you don't really need the blind (i think it's the latter!!! for sure!) LOL

Oh I know I just like the blind for when its raining and to keep stuff in while the seasons open... I hope that flock gets there butts back here soon HAHA. its my tree stand thats in the swamp and theres deer tracks all over the bush. I haven't seen one though. heck there's fresh deer tracks coming right up to the house. I may need some deer netting to protect our gardens. it almost looks like they are looking for a snack like OCs deer.

I think im guna head out to the bush soon and see if I can hear anything. LOL.
