Anyone turkey hunting this season? We have some magnificent Toms around us these days and the hens look in great condition too!

You can ask farmers for permission to hunt. Just south of me there's 100 acres of TRCA that you can not hunt in. I know people hunt north of me. Let me ask my archery teacher. He hunts for turkey. He's hunted in Africa. I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO SEE AN ANGRY RHINO EVER! LOL! There is a local chef and he literally hunts for turkey with a bow and cooks the turkey. LOL.

I see them in the farmers fields the most because they are easy to spot. I know they are in the forest southeast of me. I heard they sleep in the trees but have only seen them on the ground. A friend of mine said north of King you can only bow hunt but that was long ago...

I'll take a photo when I see them and send you the location. Is there a map that shows you where you can hunt? I am just curious. I don't like killing things. So hunting is not for me. I love dissecting animals. After they are dead, well, it's biology and dinner. LOL.
