Coyotes

Post by Bakers Backyard » Tue Feb 09, 2016 8:46 pm

We've been hunting them near merrickville this winter and there is a pair we've seen multiple times. The male is dark and almost twice the size as the female. He's definitely more wolf than yote, but the female is definitely a coyote.
We've taken down a couple, but those yodel dogs are harder to kill than you'd think! haha

Dark colours come from dog genes. Black wolves are the result of crossbreeding with domesticated in the past. No surprise we'll start to see dark coyote mixes. I just wish the yotes would go back where they came from lol
