Thanks OC!

Its the Tundra Swan you saw in the Yukon. These birds have a massive migration route. they even fly past Alaska and over into Russia n beyond! I sure hope they are Ai free!

I love hearing the swan fly over, very distinct sound. Yes Spring has appeared is seems like in just a couple days. Saw Swans on Sunday and then yesterday and today lots of robins and the red-winged black birds are singing. LOVE it!!

Signs of Spring!

The entire pasture was filled with Canada Geese yesterday, had to be at least 250-300 of them. Now I have three stupid flies in my kitchen driving me and the cat nuts!

Is it just me, or did the geese just left short while ago?
2 fat flies, bunch of lady bugs, and a muffler on side of the road, has got to be spring. ;)

Id like to help you with the Canada Goose problem but the season is closed... I think they need to be considered an overabundant species and the regs drastically modified. I thought I had a spring season here but it was only for areas without sunday gun hunting... im glad and mad that I decrypted the regs and figured that out before i set up n broke the law.
