Update on the chicks at 5 - 6 weeks. Still 19 and I think an alarming number of cockerels! The black one one is beautiful and should be interesting. All very pretty. I also appear to have a Brother left and Brother right (that's how SIster got her name). 2 have cute crests.

We had a group of three Buff Orpingtons and my son was little and would lie in the enclosed area in the wood chips with them. Well as soon as they saw a human they walked over and if you sat down you would have 3 on you!Happy wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 6:57 amOh some of my chickens do that too.Killerbunny wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2024 10:05 amGood job you never had turkeys. The poults are quite different to chicks and imprint on you. They want to snuggle and fall asleep on you.
I'm convinced that Edith has named me 'sofa'

@lolotsung yup! The little white cockerel watched Mum jump onto my knee and copied. I think he's applying to stay!
