New birds
As asked for, pictures of the 2 girls bought at the Woodstock buy sell trade.
I could tell these girls hadn't been handled much, scratched me up trying to get away. Not the best pictures as they didn't relax, but I'm happy with them. Dirty faces already, that's the problem with whites.
Summer had to photo bomb!

Re: New birds
Nice birds! They look a little small, but they could still be young. Nice round heads. Good find. What are you going to breed them with? Partridge based you might get Red Plye. Lol

Probably breed with my white roo, they may look small in the picture but I think they may actually be too big. They are bigger than my hens and are still fairly young, not laying yet but soon to start.
I don't have a partridge roo so no red Pyle for me from these girls but I should put my partridge hen with my white roo then maybe some red pyle

It's better if they are a little bigger. People are breeding them too small. They should be a good size. I have a couple girls who I think are too small. My showgirl rooster is a good size. He is probably a foot tall and about 6 or 7 pounds. I'm hoping he'll produce slightly bigger showgirls.kenya wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 12:39 pmProbably breed with my white roo, they may look small in the picture but I think they may actually be too big.
