First egg from Black Copper Marans!

First egg from Black Copper Marans!

Found this egg in the snow today, I guess one of the black copper marans laid it yesterday - frozen and cracked, but what a beauty otherwise!

Such nice speckles! My blue coppers give me more speckles than my blacks. Send more egg pictures when your Marans start laying more!

Yeah you have a really nice dark egg there and a couple with those great speckles. The Marans eggs make a great foil beside those blue eggs!
