Out taking pics

Post by Killerbunny » Tue Dec 29, 2020 6:51 pm

Last couple of days we've been out taking pics and looking for wildlife. One run we saw an otter and this pileated woodpecker and on the way home maybe 40 Jakes in a field!

Today we saw loads of ducks. Can anyone help ID? We think maybe oldsquaw in winter plumage?

Great shot of the Woodpecker!

Yes I think you are correct on the duck, a female with winter plumage. Found this Youtube clip.
