To maintain memory usage at a low level we are entertaining deleting photos after a certain time period which at this point will be determined by the time when we run out of data storage capacity.

This Kestrel landed outside my kitchen window yesterday. She sat there with the mouse dangling for a while, then put half of it in her mouth and flew over to the corral fence to eat it.

Thousands of snow geese have been flying over my place this week. There would have been some nice pictures, but I didn't have my camera with me. Some were so low I could hear their wings.

Lovely. We just put up a kestrel box in the hopes that a pair wll use it. We do see them around here.
