Bumblebees everywhere

This year I have a front seat on the "bumblebee condos", being built on a side of our patio.
I have never actually seen bumblebee digging in the ground, absolutely hilarious watching them dig and then come and go, sometime creating a bit of a traffic jam at some openings, so presumably when they get fed up with that they build their own exit. :)

The condos are fascinating! I've never seen those before! Lots of bees here too :).

I've seen single holes in the ground, not a group, but a lot of the bumblebees here just use the gopher holes.
