Poultry Talk Ontario (pto.ca)

We were out in the canoe this morning and stopped for a break. This little poppet came down in the reeds next to us and started getting its lunch. It was about 3ft away at its closest. Felt very lucky.

They ARE cute, but not if they are at your pond, feasting on goldfish.....

It's a Green Heron.
