3 month old Seramas

I think they're pretty and it's kind of nice to pick up a chicken with one hand. :)

I love the little cockerals! The way they hold their tails and strut around are way too cute.

I had no idea it would be so hard to sell some of these. I love color. A few are easy to let go, but I am having second thoughts about a couple. My original plan was to keep the pullet in picture 2, the pullet in picture 3, the cockerel in picture 4, the pullet in picture 7, and the little white cockerel (who I think is 3 or 4 weeks younger than the rest).

I had someone who wanted the black and white cockerel, the cockerel in the last picture, the pullet in picture 1 and the pullet in picture 5. They have not made firm arrangements so I think they may have changed their minds. Transportation to Manitoba is the main issue.

I really like the cockerel in the last picture. You can't see it but he has some pretty lacing on his chest besides the other colors. The little white one came from the same breeder as the pullet in picture 7, and it is possible they are both unrelated to the rest. The pullet in picture 3 is quite small and fine.

The way they pose for pictures sure affects what you think of them.

I loved mine. I would have kept all of them. The males are very sweet. You can picked them up walk around with them. They come running when they see you. i sadly had to choose between them and my silkies. My vote, keep all of them!

I might end up with all of them. I put up an ad to sell 2 of them a few weeks ago. It got 23 views but no inquiries. I will have to figure out some different housing if they are all here for the winter. So far the roos aren't fighting, but they will need more space. I didn't plan to keep them all.

Falls a hard time to sell as people are thinking of the winter and downsizing but a good time to buy. Also if you have the room it gives you the time they need to continue developing to see which ones you like the best, best thing about them they hardly take up any room.
