She is tolerating the other hens telling her that she has odd looking kids quite well. Sadly one little guy didn't make it so 4 now.

I had one wonderful broodie hatch and raise one of my turkey poults and I was amazed how good they are at raising thems. It turned out to be a Tom who much preferred the company of chickens to turkeys though!

I have used broody hens in the past and it works well. Poor Sister though was quite upset when they saw her at about 10 weeks and flew towards her en masse!

Ms. Butts is looking a little tired from trying to keep her little ones together?..lol great pictures. They are very cute with both Mom's.

Poor girl is now having trouble coping with the youngsters because they are old enough to integrate but she wants them on the apron strings. Wyandottes aren't the most agile birds and it's funny as she runs after them.
