My new babies
I'm so happy to have 3 new baby Gold Welsh Harlequin ducks. They will be moved into a cage this weekend after my husband transfers all the new chicks out of it to the brooder in the coop. I had to share these pictures with you all. I just love them! We have more in the bator that will hatch in a couple of weeks.

Re: My new babies
Thanks everyone! I have been waiting for this day. We've had these ducks for about three years without much luck in hatching them. We would only get one or two at a time. Last year a rooster was eating the eggs and the ducks were stressed living with the chickens. It took us a while to figure out what was happening to the duck eggs and who was responsible. I think the ducks were stressed too, so it affected their laying. Finally this year they have their own space and they are a lot happier now. I wouldn't put chickens and ducks together again. We have 2 females and 2 males, but the 2 females are with only one male. I am so happy to see this flock grow bigger. New hatch in a couple of weeks and I will post more pictures.
