Neighbor was over this morning and was able to take a pic of me attempting to milk. See how she is suspended? Without that she would be laying down. And she is still kicking, though settles in in a few minutes. When we are done milking the dogs get to come in and clean up the spilt. Any milk in the pitcher goes to the chickens for now.
Its these kinds of things that make a goat more valuable if it comes time to sell. And if someone hasn't had goats before and wants to milk, there is a lot of value added if they get a trained goat first, then work their way into this after a year or so. You learn so much that you didn't know from your first goat, it helps if the goat has some experience.
And the twins. Named Gretzky and Kuri. Gretzky was always the star, so the one with the star on his forehead is Gretzky. And Gretzky's winger was Jari Kuri.
Harbingers of spring.

Two weeks and a little now. Cleo last two days haven't needed to tie her up to milk, still the odd imitation of a kick, but settling in nicely to being a milk goat.
