One of our Golden Italian crosses

Post by Jaye » Mon Dec 17, 2018 9:42 am

Just wanted to share a picture of one of two of our Golden Italian/ Tuxedo Coturnix quail hens.

We like her colour mix. She's a calm bird too, which makes handling easier. DH has her eating out of his hand.

Thanks all. Her name is Daphne. There's 13 more where she lives, but will require one of us manning the camera and one holding the subject quail in order to get pictures of the rest of them. And it's not likely we will even be able to catch Petra.
We'll try to take more pictures of the rest this weekend.

The second picture shows another favourite, Avro, just behind her. Oh, and Silverman peering around the door to the house in the background.
