December on the front lawn....

Post by Ontario Chick » Mon Dec 03, 2018 10:00 am

Like a port in the storm, spruce on our front lawn seems to be a favorite snack stop for the wildlife, possibly because its just beside the veg garden which is a lunch stop in summer time ;)

Hope all goes well, ross,
We are just getting another load of snow, and the winter hasn't started yet

There's not much snow here. We had freezing rain last week and then 3 days of heavy fog. The frozen fog made frost so heavy it is bending some of the trees, and interfering with the power lines. Only house sparrows, a ton of mice, and 1 snowy owl around for critters.

The tree in the middle of this picture is a birch with 2 trunks. It is almost bent in half.
