You retain rights to your photos but by posting them here you also are agreeing to giving rights to PTO to remove or alter these pictures (size adjustment for example) as needed. To maintain memory usage at a low level we are entertaining deleting photos after a certain time period which at this point will be determined by the time when we run out of data storage capacity.

Do they live inside? I'd be concerned about bathing a chicken in the warm and then putting her back out in the cold....

I bathed them , blowed them dry, put them in front of the heater the rest of the day then out to their pen with a heat lamp. They'll be fine. If it was my older birds I'd leave them inside overnight to ensure totally dry.
Yes I find my silkies are a little more fragile then my other breeds in some ways, they can stand very cold weather but not cold and wet. I almost always have a heat lamp going in winter with the younger ones.
