Final Slaughter Results - warning graphic pic

I did a final slaughter of brussels. Please don't hate me, I have no idea why they did so well. The ones above chicken grab height did best and the plants were tall. Sister still did her best and for an old girl has one heck of a bounce on her!

Nice! I haven't been able to grow a lot of Brussels. Seems they only really start to take off in our yard in late fall, and that's when I normally let the chickens into the beds to do some tilling and clean-up, so the plants don't last long.
How many plants did it take to produce your harvest?

Not only beautiful, but delicious, almost taste like peas, sweet rather then cabagey :-)

Best lightly steamed then sautéed with bacon and toasted pecans.
