Well he is still a Mummy's boy! Very tall and rather handsome. He does seem terrified of the hens except Mum.

Well, I think he is going to be a big boy and will take a while yet to mature, great candidate to keep the coyotes in check, meanwhile he will stay with mama and she will be doing his laundry and cooking for him, before he decide to step out in to the scary world and start dating ;)

OK if anyone wants this little guy now is the time! Not being content with his own little family he was sneaking around after Franks hens. Fortunately he flies well because Frank caught him at it and was not a happy rooster LOL!
PM or Email me if anyone is interested I'd hate to soup him.

SO Clanger seems to be doing OK with his little family of 3 Wyandotte hens. He dances and brings them treats. Still a baby and races after other hens sometimes when they look like "his" hens. Very careful chap and likes to keep them rounded up and he has a good eye and call for danger. Like Lucky he puts the girls in the coop and stands in the door to block it. Hoping Frank can live with him around.

Well I bumped off Clanger for bad behaviour. He had been chasing after Franks hens and his own suddenly didn't want to be around him. He beat up 2 of the Wyandotte girls because they didn't submit right away and I don't tolerate that (they will be fine just a day recovery rest). Good job I did and didn't rehome him because he has the worst crooked keel I have ever seen! He had no fat at all and one testis the size of a small egg and he isn't a big bird. I think the fat had been going into testosterone production. He is now resting quietly and will, I am sure, be delicious. Frank is more relaxed now too.
I hope his brother Lenny stays calm @Brebis !
