I think its law that all the snuggly ones are boys that are destined for the pot. This is the only chick that will let me handle it. I originally thought girl, but its quite a bit bigger than 2 other obvious pullets. 12 weeks old, Easter egger. It's a boy isnt it???

Could well be, but I'm not 100% convinced yet. Give it a few more weeks. The tail does look a bit suspect, though.

Not 100% sure but the tail kinda looks suspect but my leghorn crosses ,pullets, also have that tail, and I'm not seeing any waddles. Sooooooo just have to hope!!!

I agree with @kenya , didn't see any wattles, hackle feathers don't look especially pointy, don't really see obvious saddle feather development, legs are not all that chunky, and it doesn't have that "hawkish" look to the face that some cockerels have. The only thing that is is really giving me pause at this point is the tail. But as Kenya pointed out, for some breeds the pullets do have tails somewhat like that

I think I agree with Jaye and Kenya on this one. At that age I would expect a redder face/comb/wattle than that. This chicken looks like it's got that orangey-red blush that starts several weeks before laying begins. If you separate the feathers on the back right before tail starts I would expect you would see thin, shiny feathers coming in if that was a Cockerel.
