Nice to handle so far too. He's not going to tolerate the young boys much longer though! He is firmly putting them in their place. Interesting though it's getting difficult to pick out the young boys from the young girls except by size because they have totally stopped displaying or showing colour, sort of "no boys here Sir" (like Monty Python - Life of Brian"

He's beautiful! Has a name presented itself yet, or is he now officially "Handsome Dude"? It's so hard to tell shape when he's all dressed up in full regalia, I'm curious to see how he differs from your other lines. He looks very deep and pretty wide in keel and breast, but with all the displaying going on, I can't really tell. Pssshhht, men

SO far no name has come up except OCs Handsome Dude. He was The Little Prince (a wealth of names there) until he arrived and he ain't so little. I was thinking Sage because that can be taken several ways but turkeys always seem stately and thinking about something. He is well balanced. deep chested and very "lithe" and nimble. Huge wing span. His eye has a different look. Nice strong legs but not as short as the A-D line. He is a 2017 Guelph bird from Cirrus Hill.
OMG Noooooo I am not hatching this fall although #42 still wants another go and 3 are still laying. Currently I "only" have 25 turkeys plus this boy although most of the surplus are presold and the culls have a date with Hendersons in December. Yes I relented and booked a butcher date because they are too much hard work to do here especially with Vian around LOL! My neighbour (a nice one) usually helps but that's not fair on him.
