Any images that depict illegal acts or subject manner will be removed. You retain rights to your photos but by posting them here you also are agreeing to giving rights to PTO to remove or alter these pictures (size adjustment for example) as needed. To maintain memory usage at a low level we are entertaining deleting photos after a certain time period which at this point will be determined by the time when we run out of data storage capacity.

OK so I decided to plant in bags of triple mix this year to see how that worked. Wrong! The chickens go, "see how she's pointed out the young juicy plants for us".

Lol oh KB thanks for the warning! I typically don't let the chickens in the front yard for this very reason (and they love to on the front deck) but they saw the gate open and made a break for it

On the deck, on the steps, on the paths, in the driveway... everywhere but in the flowerbeds lol. Although, I have a goose nesting in one of them, and her 'attendants' (two ganders) keep all the chickens away from that bed. You know it's just calling their name too, with all the lovely loose dirt just begging to be turned over and bathed in. Hence all the in the driveway--the chickens stand there and stare longingly at the goose-guarded flowerbed

I just found Freddie the Tom, dusting in the flower bed with the chickens. He swears they said it was OK!
