What colour is she?

Couple pics of Speckles as she was wallowing in the dirt pile yesterday and I got to wondering what do you call her colouring?

Not really sure but she appears to be silver laced , not sure what the base colour would be called. Very pretty though!

i think she's a silver double laced eb (partridge) IF she doesn't not have any salmon in her breast. if she does have salmon colour in her breast she's likely a silver double laced duckwing. and lacking a bunch of melanizers in either case so the brown is really coming through with stippling. If her breast is stippled and not salmon she's eb (partridge) for sure. she is super cute, and the spitting image of a mutt i had several years ago-who was an awesome broody, but alas not too bright and actually got herself stuck inside a barn wall at one point....lol.

So....might be salmon or mahogany actually. but since eb cannot move that into the breast i'll say likely e+ (duckwing). So silver double laced duckwing.
She actually looks a lot like some of my project birds in the early days of my welbars-like an unbarred silver welbar LOL. and exactly what i was trying to do is get barred (but not laced) silver duckwings-and turns out that some of my welsummers are laced, and i got some girls that look just like yours there with and without barring. very striking birds.
fingers crossed for a good broody again this year!!!!

Would she pass that lacing on to her chicks?

You would probably have to cross her with another laced bird.
