“Jolene” She has black feathers coming in on her tail and specks of black starting to appear around her neck like a Sussex. Her adult feathers have started to appear in her chest and they are a much richer red.
“Maurrrrice” He’s got some blue showing up in his tail.
“Teeny Weeny” The boss lol.
“The Tweedles” I’m still leaning towards two boys but one just may be a pullet. One is still slightly behind in feathering but they’re close to even now. They both let Teeny Weeny boss them around.

Maurice is turning into quite the handsome gentleman I think. So far he's a very good Cockerel. He protects his little flock and just let out his first crow (groan) this morning. I'm curious if anybody has guesses on what breeds may be mixed into him. He has every colour of the rainbow in him lol. Blue grey in his tail which is just now growing back in...mahogony...cream...gorgeous shiny gold hackles and saddle feathers coming in...black in hackles. He's very slender and long legged.

Re: Three amigos
Sweet little Jolene (the girl in the picture of the month) laid her first egg today. I’ve never seen such a no-nonsense pullet. There was no drama...she marched back to the coop like she knew exactly what had to be done lol.
The egg on left is a Barred Rock. Middle is from Stella the huge Standard Cochin and right is Jolene’s. Not a bad size for a pullet egg! She is 4 1/2 months old.
