2018 breeding pen... #2. TIME to guess....
Or as we like to call it the "crap shoot" pen
Jr is still carrying some wound dressing from a disagreement in the bachelor pad, but the girls were very welcoming.
I decided to go with the not so good comb Jr , but good body width, reasoning that I will eat the breast and not the comb
couldn't take a decent picture to save my life, but since I use PTO as my filing system, here goes..

Oh dear
OC, I approve of your "filing system"! Mine is many disorganized folders with filenames like Camera Offload, cameraoffload2, roosterpics, bntmchkns, my Jerseys, Jan's Pics, etc. etc.. In desperate and mounting need of sorting since, oh, 2009 or so
I think Junior looks pretty good! How old is he?Question, is the hen at the very front in the top picture, the same hen at the front in the bottom pic?

oh boy, I was hoping nobody was going to look at the hens too closely
Junior is 8+ month old
I actually pulled out the pictures and tried to figure out if it's the same hen, but not absolutely sure.
I am doing this instead of baking which I should be doing now, just shows you where my interest lies.
This "crap shoot" pen is an effort to mix some not so good ingredients and come up with a gourmet dish

Hmm, looking at chickens, or fresh bread?
Chickens are the reason why we don't have any cookies , and why the black bananas are still in the freezer. Chickens and PTO
