Stayed up until midnight, since I do most nights anyway, with the bright moon and snow cover the countryside looks so beautiful at night, spent most of the time staring out of different windows. :)
Started New year with 5 FIVE!!!! pullet eggs evenly distributed along the floor frozen solid.
This pen has 12 pullets, no older hens and no rooster to show them where to lay, haven't had this happen in a very long time, the 6 pullets that were aded to older hens are already laying in the boxes.
On to more lovely food (roasted duck today) and then for a snow shoe run to work of the duck fat ;)
