Here is the other one, & I know for sure he's a male.

I don't have any experience with Silkies as far as being able to determine gender goes. I find it very difficult to figure out what they are. One thing the more experienced may be seeing is a male posture and what they call "streamers" in the head gear, although with a frizzle sizzle I would think it's hard to tell. I'm still holding out hope that it's a girl.

Also what Kenya said about the comb. To my (admittedly inexperienced with silkies) eye, that comb looks too wide and raised to be a pullet comb, but the face picture is very fuzzy so I could be completely wrong!

Comparing it to your other male I still say male. Sorry, hope I'm wrong.

Yuppee !!! Congratulations!

I was so torn....I have a white stripper roo & a white showgirl hen.
The other 2 white hens died because of the weasel attack.
IF I kept a white sizzle frizzle roo, it means I'd need to find a white silkie hen something or other (so far near impossible )
I bred & hatched this bird & LUV the looks...didn't want to get rid of it.
Now she can go with her daddy for company. (once she is grown - & NOT for breeding)
The blue Showgirl with her, can join the Blue / Black / Splash team.

Means I will be down to one less coop.
UNLESS I cave & buy something from Mount Forest - LOL

Well, technically we weren't ALL wrong ... I was "still holding out hope that it's a girl", since I am not experienced in Silkie gender determination, and there were others who shared my optimism and had their for a girl for you. Glad it worked out for you (and her).
