While we were out canoeing yesterday we came across some more Canadian Wildlife. Fortunately in the place it's supposed to be. These things can sure swim fast! Beautiful animal.

Very cute (as long as it's nowhere near our chickens!) Must be another one of those canoeing minkies :)

Every once in a while we have one in our pond
Unfortunately too close for comfort and they love my goldfish!
I'm pretty sure we have one in there now
As was said they are fast swimmers and I haven't been able to see what it is
It is not a muskrat. That I know

I did not know they liked swimming, I thought they just stayed in the bush. Last year I had two large otters come walking down the road, I didn't know we had something like that around here, plus I was surprised by how big they were.

Yes, we saw otters on the Rideau this year and they are surprisingly big!
