New Little Jewels
From the very first bantam hatch of the year, here are the favourite girls. The gold and black one was an unexpected surprise, and I think she's just lovely!
All are half sisters, same sire. The blacks, which declined to be on camera, have one copy of mottled, and also are likely 'hiding' various other colours and patterns.

Re: New Little Jewels
I *think* this is year 3, or is it 4, since a tiny mutt Squinky rooster made me go "hmm", and a little oopsie rooster named Speck put a glint in my eye lol.
Who knew you could get SO many colours and patterns out of so few chickens, without even trying hard?
So much fun!

Oh wow so pretty! I did a big dumb dumb lately, the easter eggers turned out some really pretty daughters, all kinds of colours plus some black daughters, I took them to a buy, sell, trade and of course people bought all the pretty girls. Some were almost marked like pheasants.
