Given I only have 2 breeds laying right now 6 girls total) I'm impressed with the variety even if it is somewhat boring beige!

I think they're pretty! Also there's enough difference between each of them that you know who laid what, I'll bet.
That's what I like about having hens that lay different coloured eggs: I have kept track of the number of eggs that each of my hens have laid since I got them, and it's interesting to chart the production ebb and flow of each of them over the years, as well as when and how much their production slows down as they age.

From the left:
Liza Minelli (my heaviest girl/tiniest egg), Miss Kitty, Lola, Big Momma, Bitchy, Sharon
Liza and Lola are the Cochins-rest barred rocks.

My 3rd Cochin that's molting right now lays a roundish pink egg and Phoebe my sick girl typically lays a large round pinkish egg with tons of excess calcium on it like sandpaper (the poor girl)

Everyone thinks I'm nuts knowing who's egg is who's but when you only have a few and they are all thoughtful enough to be unique it's easy!
