Craziest batch yet
This is by far the wildest, loudest, brattiest group of chicks I've had this year. As much as I love a broody doing all the work I do have to admit that having a group of chicks rush to clamber all over you and try to fly to your shoulders is really pretty cool. I'm getting scared I've hatched a batch of roos (that's for @ross lol)
The blue one and the one on far left are Cochin. The rest are rock/Cochin mix. The 2nd from left has fast become my fav so must be a boy

Re: Craziest batch yet
This is the craziest chick I've ever seen since it's mother (Miss Kitty) was a chick. It is goofy and clumsy and seems to do all the wrong things at the wrong time in the eyes of it's siblings! It also wants to be on my head any chance it gets...like it's mother did.
Thoughts on boy or girl?
So far off the mixed chicks there one with darker bars than this one and 2 much lighter. 3 weeks old.
