Truthfully it's the spoiled dog's outside bed. But the chickens stare at him and he gets intimidated and leaves lol.

Even chickens like a comfortable bed, Happy you are blowing the idea of chickens not very bright, right out of the water.

Actually no. The lab found something dead in the field and had a good roll in it. Then had a good roll on the bed lol. Eau de dog for him...stomach churning for anyone else. I'm telling you my chickens are the easiest pets I have. My ankle is all swollen and bruised from the cleverly planted cat puke I slipped in this morning. Dark room in the basement...bare feet...I'm sure you can fill in the swear words!
